Its time to make reservations for the annual Mothers Day Tea which will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4th, in the Myers Inn Museum. Big Walnut Area Historical Society is inviting mothers and daughters of all ages to dress up for high tea in a historic setting. This year men are also invited to bring their mothers.
Three courses including homemade savories, scones and sweets will be served with the tea and served by costumed BWAHS servers.
Seating is limited so reservations are needed. Call Alice at 740-965-1942 to make your reservations. Funds from the tea go toward the upkeep of the Myers Inn Museum.
Myers Inn Museum is located on the corner of Granville and South Columbus Street facing the southwest corner of the Sunbury Village Square. The Museum is open 12-3 Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays and 10-3 on Saturdays. Admission to the museum is by donation.
The Big Walnut Area Historical Society meets at 7:30 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month in the Myers Inn Meeting Room.
