The Kiwanis Club of Delaware (Evening) meets regularly on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month in the Wesleyan Room at The Old Bag of Nails Pub in downtown Delaware, located at 66 North Sandusky Street. On Months with a 5th Tuesday, the Club holds a special "social" event for members, members of their family, and other guests. Place and time will vary and will be posted early in the month with a 5th Tuesday. Come and join us and find out more about our group and what we do!
Members and guests order food off the menu when they arrive (anything from an appetizer, to a sandwich to a full dinner or just a dessert or beverage) and begin the evening with catching up with friends. A short business meeting follows around 6:15-6:20 PM to update members about special events and service projects coming up and to recognize members celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and other special life events. The evening ends with a program on a current topic or subject that proves to be educational, informational, or just plain fun for our members and their guests. From time-to-time attendees will work on an in-house service project. Meetings usually finish around 7:00 PM. For information about attending as our guest, please contact Club Secretary -- Dick Brulotte by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 740-816-0200. Come and join the oldest service club in Delaware and make a difference in the community or in the life of a child.
"Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time."
