Delaware Community Veterans Day Parade

Mark your calendar for Sunday, November 11th for the annual Delaware Veterans Day Parade.  Parade will step off near Wilmer Street promptly at 3:00 PM and continue through downtown Delaware to the County Fairgrounds.

For those that want to be in the parade, please visit our website for an application or you may email us at: delawareveteransparade@yahoo.com  All participants must complete an application and submit by November 1st.   Any group who supports Veterans is welcome to be in the parade. You do not need to be a Veteran to be in the parade.

Please support this parade.  Know that you are touching the hearts of many Veterans.  Our Grand Marshall is 99 years young and was a fighter pilot in World War II and Korea. 

Immediately following the parade join us for our Veterans Celebration - Food, Fellowship and a short program to wrap up the day.

November 11, 2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.  Be sure to come out and thank these brave men and women who defend our freedom.  Many had no choice, we have the choice to support them.   Thank you
