Preservation Parks of Delaware County presents:
PIONEER DAY
Bring the family for an afternoon of pioneer fun! Visit with artisans as they recreate a
way of life from the days of the early Ohio settlers. Enjoy music from the period, listen to stories of days gone, watch as cider is
pressed and apple butter is stirred over an open fire!
Visitors also will judge our first ever scarecrow contest (see Oct. 1 "Scarecrow Contest" listing for more details.)
Pioneer Day is Sunday, October 10, 1-4 p.m. at Gallant Woods Preserve, 2151 Buttermilk Hill Road,
Delaware. The event and parking are both FREE!
