Imagine watching sparkling stars overhead and meteors shooting across the dark summer sky, as you sit around a campfire on a warm summer night. You can do that right here in Delaware County, at Preservation Parks' annual Perseid Meteor Shower Campout.
We're holding it this year at Blues Creek Preserve, near Ostrander, to take advantage of a night sky a little further from city lights.
You need to bring your own camping gear, food and drinking water. We'll provide S'mores and activities.
The event runs from 7 p.m., Saturday, August 14, until 9 a.m. Sunday, August 15.
